b. Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance

  • Automatic renewal applies unless canceled

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis

c. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

 

5. DIGITAL PRODUCTS & DOWNLOADS

All digital products (including PDFs, worksheets, courses, videos, graphics, and downloads) are:

  • Delivered electronically

  • Non-refundable once accessed or downloaded

  • Licensed for personal or approved group use only

 

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on Mapping the Word Academy—including text, graphics, logos, videos, downloads, curriculum, designs, and branding—is the exclusive property of Mapping the Word Academy and protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or sell content

  • Share login credentials or paid materials

  • Upload content to public platforms or third-party sites

  • Modify or create derivative works without permission

Church licenses or group permissions must be explicitly granted in writing.

 

7. PERMITTED USE

You may use Academy materials for:

  • Personal Bible study

  • Small group or church use only if permitted by your license

  • Teaching or facilitation within approved guidelines

Any unauthorized commercial use is strictly prohibited.

 

8. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to:

CHURCH / GROUP LICENSE ADDENDUM

Mapping the Word Academy

Effective Date: [Insert Date]

This Church / Group License Addendum (“Addendum”) supplements the Terms and Conditions of Mapping the Word Academy (“Agreement”). By purchasing, accessing, or using a Church or Group License, the church, ministry, organization, or group (“Licensee”) agrees to be bound by this Addendum in addition to the main Terms and Conditions.

 

1. PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH / GROUP LICENSE

The Church / Group License grants limited permission for churches, ministries, schools, and organized groups to use Mapping the Word Academy materials for collective Bible study, teaching, and discipleship purposes within their organization.

This license does not transfer ownership of any content.

 

2. GRANT OF LICENSE

Subject to compliance with this Addendum, Mapping the Word Academy grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Use designated Mapping the Word Academy materials

  • Facilitate Bible studies, classes, or small groups

  • Display content during live teaching sessions

  • Print limited copies for participants within the licensed group

Use is restricted to the approved number of participants under the purchased license.

 

3. LICENSE SCOPE & PARTICIPANT LIMITS

Church / Group Licenses are granted based on participant count or access tier, as specified at purchase.

  • Materials may only be shared with registered or active participants

  • Access is limited to the church or group listed at time of purchase

  • Additional groups, campuses, or ministries require separate licensing

Unauthorized expansion of use constitutes a license violation.

 

4. PROHIBITED USES

Under no circumstances may Licensee:

  • Sell, sublicense, or redistribute materials

  • Upload content to public websites, file-sharing platforms, or social media

  • Email or digitally distribute files beyond licensed participants

  • Remove copyright notices or branding

  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works for redistribution

  • Use content for commercial purposes outside approved ministry use

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Mapping the Word Academy.

 

5. DIGITAL ACCESS & SECURITY

Licensee agrees to:

  • Protect login credentials and digital files

  • Ensure only authorized users access materials

  • Prevent unauthorized copying or distribution

The Licensee is responsible for misuse by staff, volunteers, or participants.

 

6. TERM & RENEWAL

Church / Group Licenses may be:

  • Time-based (e.g., annual)

  • Program-based (specific course or study)

  • Subscription-based, if offered

License access expires at the end of the term unless renewed. Continued use after expiration is prohibited.

 

7. TERMINATION

Mapping the Word Academy reserves the right to suspend or revoke a Church / Group License if:

  • License terms are violated

  • Content is misused or redistributed

  • Payment obligations are not met

Upon termination, all use of licensed materials must immediately cease.

 

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All Mapping the Word Academy content remains the sole intellectual property of Mapping the Word Academy.

This Addendum does not grant ownership, copyright, or trademark rights—only limited permission to use materials as outlined.

 

9. NO THEOLOGICAL ENDORSEMENT

Granting a Church / Group License does not imply endorsement of a specific denomination, doctrine, or teaching position beyond the general Christian framework of Mapping the Word Academy.

Licensee retains responsibility for how materials are presented within their theological context.

 

10. DISCLAIMER & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Mapping the Word Academy is not responsible for:

  • How materials are taught or interpreted

  • Outcomes of group studies

  • Decisions made based on the content

All materials are provided “as is” for educational and spiritual formation purposes.

 

11. GOVERNING LAW

This Addendum shall be governed by the same governing law specified in the Mapping the Word Academy Terms and Conditions.
